Written Insurance of Deposits
Pursuant to the provisions of the Regulation on Deposit and Participation Accounts Subject to Insurance and Premiums to be Collected by Savings Deposit Insurance Fund published in the Official Gazette dated 07.11.2006 and numbered 26339, the credit balances including principle and accrued interests of savings deposit accounts opened with a Turkish credit institution’s branches within Turkey and not allocated to commercial activities except accounts opened exclusively for cheque issuing purposes in Turkish liras, foreign currency or precious metals up to TL #50,000.00 is under coverage of insurance.
Important Announcement About Rent Payments via Access Online
Dear Access Online Users;
The banks in Turkey are obliged to inform the Ministry of Finance of all payment qualified as “rent” pursuant to requirement stated in the letter of Republic of Turkey Ministry of Finance Revenue Administration. Accordingly, for the payment transaction of rent over the internet banking, writing the below stated abreviations at the beginning of the section of “payment details” is necessary for accurate reporting by our bank. We draw your attention to this matter.

Accounts in all the banks will be transformed into IBAN!
IBAN (International Bank Account Number) will be mandatory to be used from 1 January 2010 by the request of Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. As of this date, IBAN will be used for money transfers such as EFT, cash remittance and book-to-book money transfers.
